Testing & Validation

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

  • X-Ray Film & Computer Radiography: This non-invasive technique allows us to inspect the internal structure of components for potential defects or variations, providing a detailed view that goes beyond surface-level inspection.
  • Coordinate-Measurement Machine (CMM): Our CMMs use precise probing technology to measure the geometry of an object. They capture detailed 3D measurements, ensuring components meet exact specifications.
  • Optical Laser Technology: Using high-precision laser tools, we are able to detect flaws and defects in our bellows.
  • Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI): This method identifies surface defects by applying a fluorescent dye to the component, which, under UV light, highlights any imperfections, ensuring flaw-free surfaces.

Performance Testing

  • Spring Rate Test: This test measures the resistance of springs under load, ensuring that they meet specific tension and compression requirements.
  • Fatigue Cycle Testing: Fatigue cycle testing simulates repeated use to assess a component’s durability and identify potential failure points.
  • Altitude Testing: In simulating high-altitude conditions, we confirm that our products will perform reliably in low-pressure and high-pressure environments, critical for aerospace applications.
  • Nitrogen Bubble Test: Checks for leaks by submerging the component in nitrogen and watching for bubbles, ensuring product integrity.
  • Helium Bomb Test: This involves pressurizing a component with helium.
  • Helium Leak Test: The helium leak test, like the bomb test, precisely detects minute leaks to ensure an airtight seal where contamination or leakage is critical.
